alrighty heres just a few things flying through my mind
- Lately i've really been digging Perry Noble... he a no crap kinda preacher who brings the word... his church is all about reaching those who the church has neglected... it's about the church that is constantly "Thy" will not "My" will!! it's a church thats is constantly creative and always inovative... the church has a counter culture mentality and this mentality has left us with empty pews and bars packed.... Perry Noble is the kinda preacher who just says "Jesus Saves" and has built his church on that one truth... a church based off of creativity and inovation... always looking for a new way to do ministry... u can check out his blog here
- i've been really thinking about the crucifixion of REAL LOVE... today in my YouVersion daily read i read through the story of the crucifixion and throughout all of it there is one reocurring theme... in the midst of pain.. fear... doubt... depresion.. there is a LOVE that caste out all fear... in the darknesst there is always HOPE... Jesus always lived life to LOVE.. even as he was beaten... he showed LOVE and humility... never being biast or pridefull... he lived a life of "thy" will not "My" will!!
- Iam finding that the church has a lack of unity... we let little things in our personal theology keep us from fullfillling the Great Comission... we let small things keep us from BIG DREAMS... we don't reach out to the church down the road... b/c of some stupid little theology... just b/c they don't worship like we do or sing the songs we do we can't help them out... we can't pray for them... the church needs UNITY... we need to get back to the heart of worship.. we need to get back to the heart of ministry.. we've let our denomination keep us from seeing Signs wonders and Miracles.. we have let the harvest be dictated by the different types of fertilizer we put on it.. when push comes to shove its all chuch policital crap anyways!!
