Today has been an interesting day here in the D
this morning i got to school to get on a bus to head to another school like everyday
but my bus wasn't there....
so i waited with my friends......
and we waited some more.....
and after 30 minutes of waiting we realized that the bus wasn't coming to get us....
so we told the people in the office.....
so they called in another bus to come and get us....
so we waited for that bus.......
for 20 more minutes
and finally that bus arrived
and it was a SHORT BUS!!
i was earger and joyful
i felt flying
because i got to ride the SHORT BUS to school!!!!!
it was an incredible experience that i will never forget!!
on a more serious note.....
i posted a blog yester day entitled "Will you be abducted"
it was about an even that the Invisible Children are holding
it's to raise awareness and help intervene in Northern Uganda where Joseph Kony has created an army of Child Soldiers
who he has abducted and forced into doing grotesque things
like killing their own brothers.. many watched as their family members were butchered by Kony's ruthless rebel force
Joseph Kony said that he wanted peace
so the Ugandan government made an efforts at a and Peace Treaty
but when the time came for kony to show up and sign the Treaty he made the Ugandan Gov. wait for 5 days in the bush and he didn't show up
on Christmas day he massacred over 600 people
and abducted over 200 more children
Every day more people are butchered by his rebel army
and children are abducted and turned into monsters
On April 25th We are being abducted on behalf of Joseph Kony's 3,000 child soldiers
